Office Staff

Dorothy has worked in the church office since 2018. She and her husband Jeremy attend Carey along with their four children.

Hugh was brought up in North London and Hertfordshire, he left school at 16 and had a number of jobs including a year in the Hertfordshire Constabulary. He completed an electrical apprenticeship, and then went back to college in Bristol intending to join the Merchant Navy as a Radio Operator. Instead, something much better happened and he met his future wife Sue. They moved to Reading when Hugh joined BT. In 1990 they were baptised at Carey. Many years later Hugh took early retirement from BT and, in September 2019, took up the role of Operational Manager at Carey. Sue and Hugh have a daughter, Catherine who is married and living in Cardiff, and a son, Jonathan who attends Carey.

Jude began working in the office in September 2022. She is married to Clive and has two grown up children and nine grandchildren. Jude and Clive joined Carey in 2022.
