Nigel Tomsett
Nigel was born in Reading. Growing up, he developed a passion for music – playing drums, guitar and keyboard. After leaving school he taught instrumental lessons and ran recording projects from home.
During his time at Carey, he has been involved with the music team, which he currently co-leads. He also helps to lead YP.
In 2016, Nigel was appointed as our part-time Youth Worker, and after a year this role became a full-time opportunity, which he gladly accepted! Nigel now oversees all aspects of the Youth Work (see our Youth page for details).
Nigel has a super wife, Naomi, and five wonderful daughters, Kezia, Lydia, Mahlah, Jemimah and Phoebe.
