‘Tuesday Night Football’ is for anyone and everyone over 18 years old who enjoys a good game of football. We meet every Tuesday at 7:45pm (for a prompt 8pm start) at the Academy Sport Leisure Centre, playing on their outdoor astro-turf pitches. Depending on numbers, we either split up into two separate games or play one large game across two pitches. Games finish at approximately 9pm with the evening then being wrapped up with a 5-10 minute talk on the Christian faith.
So, if you’re over 18 years old (male or female, novice or pro), then we very much welcome you to come and join us. In order to play, you need to join the WhatsApp group that we use for players to sign up each week – if you would like to join the group, or have any other questions, you can get in contact with us by emailing Jonathan: football@careybaptistchurch.org.uk
Once you have signed up, just turn up on the night at 7:45pm, we’ll put you in a team and then you’re good to go. We encourage fair play, sportsmanship and competitiveness – there’s nothing quite like an honest and committed game of footie.
