Seniors

They will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming ‘the Lord is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him – Psalm 92:12-15

Friendship and Support

Our aim is provide opportunities for friendship, Christian fellowship and to provide practical and prayerful support for those in particular need. We seek to do this through a programme of activities and events through the year which are designed for folks from 60 years of age.

Senior’s Lunches on Wednesdays

Lunch time meetings are held at 12.30pm at the Carey Centre on two Wednesdays every month where people can enjoy a cooked two course lunch often with quizzes and a variety of entertainment. These have proved very popular and enjoyable and are attended by a good number of local people from outside the church membership. Lunches will be available as follows:

April: 29th

May: 13th & 27th

June: 10th & 24th

Care and Support

We are also concerned to provide pastoral care and support, especially for some of the elderly who are particularly frail and needy and do not have family members to care for them.
