Dementia Training Session

There is a Dementia Friends training session at Carey on Sunday 5th July 3:45 for 4pm in the Carey Centre, Anstey Road, RG1 7JR.

Sue Hamblin, who works for the Alzheimer’s Society, will be helping us understand more about dementia, how it affects a person and small things we can do to make a difference for people with dementia.

Everyone is welcome, whether you know lots about dementia already or very little.  It will be useful for us all in welcoming and chatting to those with dementia, and enabling them feel settled and welcome. It will also be helpful for those who visit or support people in their families, LIFEgroups or community with dementia.
