Richard Baxter
Richard grew up in Epsom, before studying English literature in Aberystwyth, where he became a Christian. After a few years as a primary school teacher, he and Dorcas moved to Reading in 2011, where Richard worked as an apprentice with Carey. After studying theology at WEST, Bridgend, Richard served as an assistant pastor in Bournemouth. He moved to take up the role of outreach worker at Carey in January 2018.
His primary role is equipping the church to reach its neighbours with the good news of Jesus Christ.
Richard and Dorcas have three children: Reuben, Autumn, and Juniper.
