Hello! ‘Tuesday Night Football’ is for anyone and everyone over 16 years old, who enjoys a good game of football. We meet every Tuesday at 8.15pm (for a prompt 8.30pm start) at the Academy Sport Leisure Centre, playing on their outdoor astro-turf pitches. Depending on numbers, we either split up into two separate games or play one large game across two pitches. Games finish at approximately 9.30pm with the evening then being wrapped up with a 5-10 minute talk on the Christian faith.
So, if you’re over 16 years old (male or female, novice or pro), then we very much welcome you to come and join us. The cost is £3 per person, per session with no advanced notice needed. What’s more, the first time you come is free! Just turn up on the night at 8.15pm, we’ll put you in a team and then you’re good to go. We encourage fair play, sportsmanship and competitiveness – there’s nothing quite like an honest and committed game of footie.
